• Your TPA should consider your needs a full time job. Most do not.
• Your TPA needs to be accessible. American Medical Review is available 24 hours a day to answer any of your compliance questions. You will be given a phone number which will put you in direct contact with us.
• Your TPA has to understand the importance of proper collection procedures. Improper collection procedures are very common since there are no certification processes for collectors. An incredible number of collections are done improperly.
• Your TPA needs to be local so you have direct personal access.
• Your TPA needs to stay alert to all DOT changes and keep you aware of them.
• Your TPA needs to be flexible and work with all certified labs and MRO's.
• Remember, your TPA has to be ready to "stand in the shoes" of the employer.
